Diversity Council

Led by: Gwen Connors and Kristina Street

Diversity Council students collaborate with their peers and staff to make Nashua the best possible environment for our school community members. This is done by empowering Diversity Council students with knowledge and awareness of injustice, while encouraging our students to stand against injustice in their lives. Diversity Council members greatly contribute to a positive and inclusive culture and climate at Nashua Elementary. Members gain skills related to peer mediation and effective communication, while contributing to classroom community circles within their homeroom. Diversity Council members have an opportunity to learn more about their peers while showcasing their own unique attributes and talents.
